Job Opening: Workforce Administrator

Job Opportunity SmallThe Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG) seeks a full-time Workforce Administrator.

The Administrator will serve as the liaison to the Workforce Connection of Central NM (WCCNM) Board and CEO’s assisting in coordinating all Administrative Entity and Fiscal Agent functions, training, agendas for meetings, implementing and updating the four-year plan and other duties as needed/required. Administers the scope-of-work outlined in the contract(s) between MRCOG and the WCCNM. Experience in writing RFP’s; understanding procurement regulations and contracts necessary to carry out the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act requirements; provides oversight of the various partners and One-Stops. Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing is required.

Qualifications Include: Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university and four years’ experience. Master’s degree may substitute for one (1) year experience.
