Shakespeare on the Rail Returns June 10, 17 & 24

shakespeare rail smAll the world’s a stage. So said William Shakespeare. And this summer, the New Mexico Rail Runner Express is once again turning into a stage. The ever-popular Shakespeare on the Rail is back this June, with performances of scenes from three of the Bard’s plays.

On June 10, 17 and 24, passengers on the #704 northbound and #705 southbound trains will be treated to half-hour performances from three of Shakespeare’s plays, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Much Ado About Nothing, and Hamlet. The performances are always highly comedic, physical, and family-friendly. Shakespeare on the Rail brings quality Shakespeare scenes to the Rail Runner, building community excitement for local theatre and spreading the experience of riding to new patrons.
