The Rio Metro Regional Transit District and the New Mexico Rail Runner Express have partnered with the New Mexico Department of Transportation to provide rail safety awareness and education from Belen to Santa Fe. Through this effort, we are dedicated to the safety of railroaders and citizens, rail property and trains. The ‘Rail Safety: Look, Listen, Live!’ campaign encourages youth to become familiar with rules and tips to ensure that everyone stays safe on or nearby train tracks and at train stations.
