$1 Weekend on the Rail Runner

Have you always wanted to try the train and just kept putting it off? Now is the perfect time to do it! Starting in August, the New Mexico Rail Runner Express will kick off $1 Weekends. The fourth weekend of every month, from August through October, all fares are only one dollar on each Saturday or Sunday all day! Take the train and explore Central New Mexico with options for great dining and shopping all within walking distance or a short transit ride from our stations.  Details >>

SOMOS ABQ

SOMOSABQ is a city-wide festival that will showcase the very best that Albuquerque has to offer, including world class entertainment, food vendors, local restaurants, craft brewing, arts and culture, nonprofits, technology companies, and so much more. The event will take over Downtown Albuquerque on September 23 from 4-10 p.m. Tickets are $10, and half of the net profit, up to $50K, will be awarded to a nonprofit chosen by SOMOSABQ ticket purchasers. Tour of the Rio Grande Valley

Beginning at the Rail Runner’s Bernalillo County Station on Rio Bravo in Albuquerque, the Tour of the Rio Grande Valley takes riders on scenic flat roads through Isleta, Los Lunas, Belen, Bernardo and Albuquerque. The entire length of the route runs parallel with the Rio Grande, with beautiful views and sights of the more relaxed side of New Mexican life. The ride takes place on Sunday, September 24, and offers multiple distance points for riders of any caliber. The tour even includes a route that takes you to Belen, where riders may choose to take the Rail Runner back to the start.  Learn More >>
