Valencia County (Monday-Friday)
Dial-a-Ride Service
Effective October 3, 2022, Rio Metro adjusted booking times for its Valencia County Dial-a-Ride service. Ride requests are now accepted from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ride requests can be made up to two weeks in advance, and no later than 12 Noon one business day in advance.
Additionally, Rio Metro Valencia has begun taking Dial-a-Ride passengers to Albuquerque for medical appointments. To request a ride from Valencia County to Albuquerque, passengers must schedule a 6:30 a.m. pickup, and the return time will be no later than 2 p.m. Passengers utilizing this service must schedule their appointments to start at 9 a.m. or later, and must be ready to return by 2 p.m.
Rio Metro’s Valencia County Dial-a-Ride service is available to anyone, including the general public, seniors, and people with disabilities. For more information or to schedule your ride call 505-352-3595.

Bus Fares Suspended
All Rio Metro bus fares are currently suspended until further notice.
Face Mask Recommendation
As of April 18, 2022, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Order requiring masks on public transportation conveyances and at transportation hubs is no longer in effect. Therefore, CDC will not enforce the Order. CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time. Rio Metro will follow TSA’s directives and not enforce wearing a mask on all Rio Metro buses, and follow CDC’s recommendation.
