The NM Law Enforcement Memorial Ride is a fundraising cycling event hosted by the Albuquerque Police Department Chaplain Unit on August 20, 2022. This event pays tribute the New Mexico Law Enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. The event begins in downtown Albuquerque and travels north 100 kilometers (64 miles) to the NM State Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Santa Fe. Along the route the participants pass six locations where seven officers have given their lives in the line of duty. Cyclists will return on the New Mexico Rail Runner Express. A 30k event is also available for those who would like to participate in a shorter ride.
