Dial-A-Ride Fares
NOTICE: Effective March 17, 2020, all Rio Metro bus and Dial-a-Ride services are fare-free until further notice.
Rio Rancho Dial-a-Ride is a weekday door-to-door transportation service for Rio Rancho residents 62 years of age and older, and for disabled adults 18 years of age and older. This service is for Rio Rancho residents only and you must be registered to use the service.

Active Duty Military and Veterans that show one of the following forms of ID ride free:
- VHIC or VA medical card
- Veteran’s ID (VIC card)
- Driver’s License with a Veteran’s Designation
- Department of Defense Active Duty & Dependent Military IDs
- NMRX Freedom Pass
Valencia County Dial-a-Ride is a weekday service that is available to the general public, including seniors and individuals with disabilities, traveling within Valencia County. Rides must be requested by 12 Noon one business day in advance.

Reduced Fares
Reduced fares are available for:
- Students (with a valid student ID)
- Youth ages 10 to 17
- Seniors ages 62 and up
- Medicare card holders
- Individuals with disabilities
- Children 9 and under ride free (must be accompanied by an adult)
Individuals with Disabilities
Individuals with disabilities need to be prepared to show one of the following:
- Medicare Card
- New Mexico Motor Vehicle Department Notification
- Letter from Doctor Indicating the Disability (with Expiration Date)
- An ABQ RIDE Honored Citizen Card
- A Santa Fe Ride Card or Santa Fe Trails Half Fare Card
- A Disabled Veteran ID card

- Children 9 and under

The Pueblo of Isleta Dial-a-Ride operates weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for trips within the Pueblo and to nearby destinations. Trips must originate in the Pueblo in order to qualify for a return trip to the Pueblo on the same day.

Fares
Pueblo of Isleta Dial-a-Ride passengers will not be charged a fare. Instead, the Pueblo has arranged to pay all fares. Should that policy change, the Valencia County Dial-a-Ride fares would apply.

Rio Metro Dial-a-Ride Commuter 251
The Commuter 251 Dial-a-Ride is a weekday transportation service from the Los Ranchos/Journal Center Rail Runner Station to Century Rio 24, the Northwest Transit Center, Intel, and points in Rio Rancho, and back.
